Creating an enabling environment for businesses to flourish is one of the key mandates of the Kenya Flower Council. The advocacy unit works with both National & County Governments, and various government agencies by participating in the designing and formulation of pro-business policies and legislations.
To enhance and sustain Kenya’s access to the global market KFC engages embassies of key destination markets on favorable bilateral trading arrangements such as the Economic Partnership Agreement (EPAs) and African Growth & Opportunities Act (AGOA).
KFC leverages on both local and international partners. KFC International Partners include the Union Fleur, COLEACP and FSI where pertinent market access issues are addressed. KFC engages umbrella organizations like the Kenya Private Sector Alliance (KEPSA) and the Kenya Association of Manufacturers (KAM) to speak as one strong voice that advocates and promotes the interests of the business community locally.
